Look Both Ways
(Challenge 1): What does it really mean to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes? Accept this Challenge and you and your team will begin to explore customs of people from different cultures and lifestyles. Look Both Ways will allow your team to do just that, as you begin to explore the world through the eyes of others.

Treasure Chest
(Challenge 2): Imagine what it would be like if your community had its own Treasure Island- a place where people could come together and share or swap their personal resources? Accept the Treasure Chest Challenge, and turn this sharing possibility into a reality!

Dish It Out
(Challenge 3): Are we really what we eat? Are there such things as Mood Foods? Can what we eat make us “healthy, wealthy, and wise”? Accept the Dish it Out Challenge and discover real nutritional facts that will promote healthy nourishing behaviors for everyone…and dispel some of the other nutritional myths as well.

Silver Brick Challenge
(Open to returning teams wishing to continue with their previous year’s project)

Another Time Around
To maximize your impact on your community, the Silver Brick Challenge allows you to use your experiences and knowledge from last year’s project to create new goals and objectives the second time around. Add new goals which improve, enrich, and enlarge your previous project’s focus. Develop one or more new community or school activities which contribute to your project goals. Get ready to bring your project to the next level, “another time around”!

(Open to teams with members who have completed two or more previous Outreach projects)

A Step Beyond!
As young people successfully involved in problem solving for the past two years, you have a unique perspective on both the needs and the resources of your community. This time, YOU get to decide how you will help your community. Is there a need you feel requires attention? Use your past experiences to design and implement a plan that addresses the need you see. With the Titanium Brick Challenge, you can take your problem solving skills “a step beyond” to make the ultimate impact!
